Summer Phoenix Fun for European Students

Phoenix Film and Theatre School are running drama sessions at Bishops Stortford College this summer. The sessions are part of the International Summer School that takes place at the venue from early July until mid-August. Our school is delighted to be contracted to supply the performing arts element of the course.

Hundreds of students aged 12 to 18 from across Europe take part in the Summer School throughout the six-week duration. Creative Director Phil Dale has been running sessions in clowning, devising, puppetry and mask theatre, meaning that the Phoenix message will be spreading across the continent this summer!

Phil said, “We miss our students whilst classes stop during August. However, it’s great to spend time with students from different countries and see them gain confidence and express themselves through theatre”
