Our Senior and Intermediate students have worked hard for 2 terms, the result being that their annual showcase was a huge success. The showcase took place at South Mill Arts in Bishop’s Stortford, which meant that all students had the opportunity to perform in a professional environment.

Our Intermediate students presented a cautionary tale entitled The Hoki. The short play told the story of 3 young teenagers who are convicted of unruly behaviour and sent to a prison camp in a desert. They escape into the wilderness and learn some lessons from the strange Hoki spirit who dwells in the sand dunes.

Our Senior students presented The Visit, the tale of a billionaire who returns to her hometown to wreak revenge upon an old boyfriend. The black comedy sets out to demonstrate how seemingly normal people will do anything when desperate and able to hide behind a mob.

All in all both performances were very well received by an appreciative audience. The showcase therefore proved to be a fitting finale to two great terms of work by our talented students.
