Scrolling Children Movie Premieres at Cineworld Our Harlow and Bishop’s Stortford Primary and Chicks classes recently had a very special day. The movies they created over the past 2 terms were shown on the big screen at the Cineworld Cinema in Edinburgh Way Harlow. The premiere was a red  carpet event which meant that students dressed to impress as they made their way in to the cinema. Senior And Intermediate Showcase 2023 Our Senior and Intermediate students have worked hard for 2 terms, the result being that their annual showcase was a huge success. The showcase took place at South Mill Arts in Bishop’s Stortford, which meant that all students had the opportunity to perform in a professional environment. Our Intermediate students presented a cautionary tale entitled The Hoki. The short play told the story of 3 young teenagers who are convicted of unruly behaviour and sent to a prison camp in a desert. Summer Phoenix Fun for European Students Phoenix Film and Theatre School are running drama sessions at Bishops Stortford College this summer. The sessions are part of the International Summer School that takes place at the venue from early July until mid-August. Our school is delighted to be contracted to supply the performing arts element of the course. Hundreds of students aged 12 to 18 from across Europe take part in the Summer School throughout the six-week duration.
